JoMarie Theobald, 68, of Sheboygan passed away on Monday morning, December 21, 2015 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
She was born in Sheboygan on November 1, 1947, daughter of the late Cecelia (Herman) Ehlert and Robert Nitsche. On November 8, 1969 she was united in marriage to Dennis L. Theobald. She worked for 19 years at Bemis Manufacturing before retiring in 2006.
JoMarie had a deep love for her family and a passion for reading and knitting. She loved to camp and after retirement she looked forward to RVing with Dennis during the cold winter months.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her children, Carmen (Matthew) Arndt of Sheboygan Falls, Paul Steinbruecker of Sheboygan, Donna (Jonathan) Cimarosti of Sheboygan, and Michelle (James) Woelfel of Richfield; her seven grandchildren, Chantel (Daniel) Semsch, Dominic Cimarosti, Justin Arndt, Anthony Cimarosti, Cassandra Arndt, Victoria Woelfel and Nicholas Woelfel; her two great grandchildren, Kyra Semsch and Kinley Semsch. She is further survived by her brother Jeffrey (Madelyn) Ehlert, life-time friend Darlene Schinabeck Quasius, her sisters-in-law Lana Theobald and Peg Theobald and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
JoMarie was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Arthur Ehlert, her sister-in-law Shirley (Richard) Koenig, her bothers-in-law Rodney Theobald and Jeffery Theobald.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Paul Fliss will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for St. Nicholas Home Health & Hospice.
The family would like to thank JoMarie’s doctors, especially Dr. Stephens, Dr. Smith and Dr. Bettag, the nurses and all the caring staff at St. Nicholas Hospital as well as her hospice nurses.
