John H Sackett (Fuzzy) age 79 of Sheboygan, went to be with his lord on May 18th, 2013 at Sheboygan Senior community following a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born on January 31st 1934 in the city of Fond du Lac to the late Clarence and Helen Sackett. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School and served in the United States Army in 1956. On August 9th 1980 he was united in marriage to Rita L. Reinartz (Fouts). John worked for 32 years at the Kohler Company engine division until his retirement in 1996. John enjoyed camping every summer at Lazy Days camp grounds. John also enjoyed fishing, hunting and was also a member of the Midwest Channel Scanners CB club where he got the name fuzzy. John was a board member of the march of dimes and participated in the jail and bail. John is survived by his wife of 33 years Rita, his sons John (Janet) Sackett of Sheboygan, Steven Sackett of Sheboygan, Jeffery Sackett of Akin, North Carolina, and stepson Lawrence (Rhonda) Fouts of Sheboygan Falls. He is further survived by 3 sisters Mary (Augie) Grahl of Cascade, Arliene (Alex) Konz of Sheboygan, and Betty Machtig of Sheboygan. 1 brother Harold (Sheri) Sackett of Broadhead, Ill and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many friends and relatives. In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister George and Helen, 2 sisters Murial Cleft and Esther Stark, and 3 brothers Norman, William, and Clarence Sackett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home., 1132 Superior Ave. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park.
