John P. Kegler (A.K.A. "Kegs") passed away at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on Friday, May 17, 2013 after a hard fought battle with diabetes and kidney failure. John was born January 17, 1973 to Dianne (Otto) Kegler and David Otto, and was later adopted by Gary Kegler. On June 13th, 1998 John married his soul mate Tiffany Gensch. He loved his family so very much and was very proud of his daughter Kiersten (9). Family and friends were very important to him, and he was always there to help until his illness forced him to stop and let others help him. He took a lot of ribbing for being a Forty-Niners fan in Packer Country, but he was loyal to them to the end. He loved to go hunting, although his declining health didn't allow him to get out much the last few years. He also liked to fish the inland lakes and rivers. He is survived by his wife Tiffany, his daughter Kiersten, parents Gary and Dianne Kegler, brother Jeremy Kegler, sister Pamela (fiance' Billy Strange) Griffith, mother and father-in-law Donna and Larry Gensch, Niece and Nephew Arianna Huhn and Michael Huhn, as well as other close friends and family. A memorial service for John will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Lippert-Olson Funeral home, 1132 Superior Ave. in Sheboygan, WI. Reverend Peter Peitsch of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. The family would like to thank Sharon Richardson Hospice staff for the wonderful care and compassion they showed John and his Family.
