Joan Lee Thomas, 69, of Sheboygan passed away Wednesday evening, October 22, 2014 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Born November 12, 1944 in Plymouth, Joan was a daughter of the late Henry and Libby Primacow Thomas. Joan worked as a security guard for many years at the Sheboygan County Health & Human Services building in Sheboygan. She previously worked as a cook at Country Kitchen. She was a member of the 1907 Club. She is survived by her three children, Leo, Thomas and Michael (Connie) Turk, all of Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, April (Nick) DoBas, Kayla Turk, Ashley Batt, Joshua (Amanda) Turk, Jennifer (Manny) Amador, Jordan Turk and Dakota Turk; 76 great grandchildren; her brother, Richard Thomas; her sister Sandy Thomas; her sister-in-law, Deanna Thomas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Turk and her two brothers, Robert and Sye Thomas. A memorial services for Joan will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Pastor John Berg will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Joan's arrangements. Rest peacefully.
