Jensen A. Horvat, 17, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Sheboygan.
Born June 9, 2003 in West Allis, Jensen was the son of Alex and Jessica (Henshaw) Horvat Jr. He attended Lincoln Erdmann Grade School, Horace Mann Middle School, St. Paul School and a Senior at Sheboygan Lutheran High School. Following graduation on May 21, 2021 he planned to begin a career in law enforcement.
As the lead clarinet player in Honors Band, he admired and had great respect for his band teacher Mr. Thiel. Robotics was his favorite class with the Sheboygan Sun recently interviewing and recording a demonstration of a robot he helped create. Helping a friend in need was one of his main characteristics. Jensen found pleasure sharing funny memes and videos with family and friends, sampling different cuisines, and building and fixing computers. Disney music brought him joy along with watching Community with his mom, Star Wars The Mandalorian with his dad, and teaching his brother new games like Star Wars Battlefront II. He adored spending time with his cousins Olivia and Hannah, and playing Arkham Horror the card game with his uncle Michael. Was a notable Star Wars, Roman history, and Rick & Morty enthusiast. He left an impact on many people including the Garnet Gaming community and local friends. Bonfires with his friends were part of his pastime, along with many hours hiking in the woods.
Survived by his parents; brother Jaxsen; maternal grandparents Dave and Laura Henshaw; paternal grandparents Alex and Donna Horvat Sr.; his great grandmother Elizabeth Stauber; uncle Michael Henshaw; aunt Vanessa (Tony Martinez) Henshaw; cousins Hannah and Olivia Henshaw; uncle Alan (Carolyn) Horvat; aunt Dana (George) Kay; and many other relatives and friends.
