Jamie Lee Simonian Schroeder Hammen

Jamie Lee Simonian Schroeder Hammen, 57, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 peacefully at her home.
Born April 19, 1964 in California, Jamie was a daughter of the late Leo and Arlene Belcher Simonian. She attended Sheboygan area schools and North High School. On April 16, 1983, she was united in marriage to Mark Schroeder in Sheboygan.
Jamie worked as a custodian for many years in the Sheboygan area. She attended City Church. She enjoyed listening to music and loved her animals. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Dezerae Lensink, Sheboygan, and Mathew (Nicole) Schroeder, Port Washington; her nine grandchildren, Trinity, Chace and Riley Lensink, Hunter Schroeder, Kayla Schalow, Brayden, Colton and Dakota Schroeder, and Austin Erdmann; her brothers and sisters, Raymond (Becky) Salzwedel, Jeff Salzwedel, Tammy (Scott) Smith, Tisha (Bob Schomeman) Lengling, Lea (Tony) Weyker, Laura Halvorsen and Linda (Mike) Davis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Raymond Salzwedel, Sr. and her brothers, Richie and Clarence.
Funeral services for Jamie will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
