James R. Scheidel

James R. Scheidel, 74, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday afternoon, October 27, 2023 at his home.
Born March 29, 1949 in Sheboygan, James was a son of the late John and Dorothy Arnst Scheidel. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1967. On January 30, 1971, he was united in marriage to Carol L. Brown in Plymouth.
James was a tin smith who worked for J & H Heating in Port Washington for many years until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer (John) Schoshinski, Fox Point, and Erica (Frank) Brockway, Newton; four grandchildren, Rachel (fiance Ajay Amin) Shultis, Justine (Mike) Dalebroux, Taylor Schoshinski and Cassidy Brockway;  4 great grandchildren, Ryan and Delsin Dalebroux, Kolson Schoshinski, and Anika Amin; his sisters and brother, Cindy (Mark) Crabbe, Henderson, NC, Jerold (Connie) Scheidel, Sheboygan, and Christine (Susan Mattfield) Scheidel, Plymouth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends and family are welcome to gather from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Inurnment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
