Jack H. Dahler, 79, of Sheboygan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, with his family by his side at Sharon S. Richard Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. He was born on March 24, 1945, in Sheboygan to the late Harvey F. and Bernice H. (Eisold) Dahler. Jack graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the Class of 1963.
Following graduation, Jack proudly joined the US Air Force serving from 1963 to 1967. He was stationed for 3 years at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk County, England.
On May 16, 1970, he was united in marriage to Carol Bubolz at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Jack was the owner of H. Dahler Machine Company running the family business for 50 years, before retiring in July 2017. He had a strong faith and was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Jack enjoyed miniature bowling, archery golfing in Wildrose, and Muskie fishing. For over 50 years he would go to Manitowish Waters with his buddies, better known as the “Northern Highland Hunt & Martini Club” to Muskie fish. Jack was very talented and embarked on an 11-year project building his own aluminum 27ft Cabin Cruiser “Plan B” which he got approved by the US Coast Guard to sail on Lake Michigan. His friends and family fondly remember hours spent at the Brown Bottle Boat Werks, watching the boat be built. Jack was also a Packer fan and an avid race fan watching and attending the races at Road America and various racetracks around the world. Jack loved spending time with his family and friends, hosting brat frys, parties and get togethers.
Jack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol, daughter Stephani (Michael) Swigert of Sheboygan, son Graham (Shelly) Dahler of Peosta, IA, four grandchildren; Justin and Jacob Swigert and Conner and Alaina Dahler, his sisters Nancy (Gian) Süd and Susan Lower, niece and nephews; Suniti Süd, Trent (Heather Piper) Lower and Tyler (Lisa) Lower, and by his sisters-in-law; Anita (Adam) Hartmann, Nancy Tewelis, Jean Henschel, Janice Free and Carol Bubolz. He is further survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Raymond and Veronica Bubolz, and brothers-in-law; Mark Lower, Eugene Bubolz, Marvin Free and Vernon Henschel.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1810 N. 13th St., Sheboygan, with Pastor Alan Kretschmar officiating. Interment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church stained glass window fund in Jack’s name.
