Irvin C. Ziegler

Born July 18, 1933, in Sheboygan, Irvin was a son of the late Irvin and Rose Morris Ziegler. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1952. In 1957, he was united in marriage to Gladys Zube. He helped Gladys raise her two sons. They were married for 36 years before Gladys preceded him in death in December of 1993. On July 7, 1995, he married JoAnne H. Harr of North Fond du Lac. They divorced in 2015.
Irvin owned and operated Ziegler's Restaurant in Sheboygan for 18 years from 1974 to 1992. Following his retirement, he worked in customer service at Pick N Save in Fond du Lac for 12 years. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Irvin was very proud to be a Gold Certified Arthur Murray Dance Instructor.
He is survived by his former wife, JoAnne Ziegler, North Fond du Lac; his stepchildren, Susan Harr, North Fond du Lac, Matthew Harr, Madison, Jody (Gary) Bloedorn, Waupun, and Jon (Paula) Harr, Eagle River, AK; a niece, Shirley Beeck, Sheboygan, and other relatives and friends.
Irv was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters, his first wife, Gladys, Gladys's two sons and two of JoAnne's children.
According to Irvin's wishes, private family services will be held. Inurnment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Manor Care for all of their loving care and support.
