Henry "Phil" Philip Gross

Henry Philip "Phil" Gross, 74, of Sheboygan, passed away from a heart attack on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his home.
Born September 27, 1947 in Sheboygan, Phil was the son of the late Henry and Phyllis Sundet Gross. He attended Sheboygan Area Schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1966. He then went to service his country in the U.S. Army in 1968.
Phil was an exceptional and Hall of Fame bowler for most of his life. Not only was he an amazing bowler, but also excelled in baseball and golf. He was a member of the VFW in Sheboygan. He was a devoted church member at St. Paul Lutheran Church and served as an usher regularly. In his later years he had quite the green thumb and had a very impressive garden filled with all sorts of vegetables and the best tomatoes.
Phil is survived by his sisters, Shirley (Terry) Kyle, CA, and Joann (Gary) Laux, Sheboygan; his nieces and nephews, Kerry James, Robert (Jenny) Kyle, Peter (Barbara) Laux and Jonathan (Araceli) Laux; his great nieces and nephews Cole, Natalie, Will, Maddie, Maggie, Miles, Celine and Mila; family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Karen, and his aunts and uncles.
Services for Phil will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1810 N. 13th Street, Sheboygan. Friends and family are welcome to the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Phil's name.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Phil's arrangements.
