Harry R. Frick of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at St. Nicholas Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born April 16, 1927 in Milwaukee, Harry was a son of the late Reinhard and Rose Rullman Frick. He attended Milwaukee area schools. He then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. On October 8, 1949, he was united in marriage to Patricia I. Nennig at St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Harry worked for Wigwam Mills for 37 years before his retirement in 1986. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where he served as a Deacon, Trustee, an usher and a youth counselor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, stamp collecting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Pat; his children, Steven (Debbie) Frick, Sheboygan, Deborah (Arthur) Ericsson, Sheboygan Falls, and Thomas (Jane) Frick, Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Adriana (Dan) Plach, Oconomowoc, Amanda (Josh) Evraets, Cleveland, Stephanie (Adam) Jaeger, Cleveland, and Ryan (Jessalyn) Ericsson, Sheboygan; six great grandchildren, Gavin Evraets, Grayson Plach, Emma Evraets, Eliana Plach, Jace Evraets and Vaughn Ericsson; two sisters-in-law, Noreen Gartman, Sheboygan and Marie Van Swoll, Racine; his brother-in-law, Michael (JoAnn) Nennig, Cedarburg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Richard, and a brother-in-law, Gene Gartman.
Funeral services for Harry will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1019 N. 7th Street, Sheboygan. The Rev. Brett Matz will officiate. Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to thank Dr. Pawlak and Dr. Bettag, and the nurses and staff of St. Nicholas Home Health & Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Harry's arrangements.
