Harold Bauer

Harold Bauer, 94, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday morning, August 27, 2018 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Born September 29, 1923 in Sheboygan, Harold was a son of the late Conrad and Sophie Bauer. He attended Sheboygan area grade schools. On June 18, 1955, he was united in marriage to Beverly A. Barthels in Sheboygan.
Harold worked as a skilled sheet metal worker at Hayssen Manufacturing Co. for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was an avid gardener and skilled craftsman.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children, Steven Bauer, Sheboygan, and Debbie (Mark) Rogahn, Greendale; his grandchildren, Tanya (Andy) Gabriel, CA, Tamara (Carlos) Linares, Greendale, and Kristina Rogahn, CA; three great grandchildren, Drew Gabriel, Sofia Linares, and Dario Linares; sisters-in-law, Bernice Barthels, Sheboygan Falls, Bernadine "Patsy" Bauer, Sheboygan, and Tony Barthels, Sheboygan Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will take place at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3910 Erie Avenue, Sheboygan.
In lieu flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Schleevogt, Dr. Jeffery Welsch and the staff of Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Harold's arrangements.
