Gordon A. Gorr, 84, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Countryside Manor. Gordon was born May 22, 1942, in Sheboygan to the late Fred and Elsie Gorr. Gordon graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the Class of 1960. Following graduation, he proudly joined and served in the US Army.
On March 7,1970, he was united in marriage to Eileen Ann Visser at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Together they celebrated 56 years of marriage and raised two sons.
Gordon had a strong faith and was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was a Tool & Die maker and began his career at the Polarware Corporation and then retired from Tecumseh Diecast in Sheboygan Falls.
Gordon was an avid fisherman; he loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed playing dartball and was inducted into the Eastern Wisconsin Lutheran Dartball League Hall of Fame. Gordon and Eileen loved to travel, they took many trips across the US visiting Mt. Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, Disney World and Hawaii to name just a few. They also traveled around the world visiting places like Australia, New Zealand, the Galapagos Islands amongst many others. Family was important to Gordon, and he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren creating many cherished memories.
Gordon is survived by his wife Eileen, sons, Jeff (Jaime) Gorr of Wausau and Jeremy (Angie) Gorr of Austin, TX, by his grandchildren; Anna Beth and Parker Gorr of Austin, TX and Max and Alex Gorr of Wausau, and by his brother Steve (Donna) Gorr of Arlington, WA. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and sister Marvel Dittrich.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1810 N. 13th St., Sheboygan, with Pastor Matthew Shive officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Gordon’s name.
