Geraldine S. Huber, 94, of Sheboygan went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday afternoon, March 27, 2015 at Harmony House where she had been residing. Born October 22, 1920 in Sheboygan, Geraldine was a daughter of the late William and Alma Hoehnke Kasten. She attended Immanuel and Trinity Lutheran grade schools and graduated from Central High School in 1939. On March 16, 1940, she was united in marriage to George W. Huber at the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran Church. They were married for 64 years before George preceded her in death on January 18, 2005. Jerry was a wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a homemaker, baby-sitter and helper. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by her three children, Johanna (Thomas) Nack, Sheboygan, Georgene (Gerald) Zimmermann, Sheboygan, Drs. Steven C. (Joan) Huber, Savoy, IL; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, George, she was preceded in death by an infant son and her brother, William Kasten. A memorial service for Geraldine will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Her grandson, Todd Martin, will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Harmony Living Center and the nurses and staff of Aurora at Home Hospice for all of their kind and compassionate care. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Geraldine's arrangements. Jerry was much loved and will be dearly missed, but we know she is in heaven and now with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
