Gary "Moses" L. Smith

Gary L. "Moses" Smith, 72, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 7, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan.
Born September 20, 1950 in Sheboygan, Gary was a son of the late Earl and Delores Thorsby Smith. He attended Sheboygan area schools and North High School.
Gary worked at Tecumseh Manufacturing for many years until his retirement. Following his retirement, he worked part time at Black Wolf Run. He was a former member of the Sheboygan County Motorcycle Club. He was an avid fisherman, hunter  and enjoyed spending time outdoors. One of his greatest joys was riding his Harley motorcycle.
He is survived by his sisters, Marilee Voechting, Sheboygan Falls, and Pam Straus, Sheboygan; nieces and nephew, Renee Baker, Brian Sischo, and Erica Straus; other relatives and friends.
A memorial services s being planned for a later date. Inurnment will take place in the Chapel of Eternal Light Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the Aurora Medical Center for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Gary's arrangements.
