Gary L. Gagnon

Gary L. Gagnon, 74, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by his family.
Born January 13, 1948 in Daggett, MI, Gary was a son of the late Donald and Leona Hultman Gagnon. He attended grades schools in Michigan and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1966. He then continued his education at Luther College in Decorah, IA, and at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. On August 29, 1970, he was united in marriage to Judith A. Bahr at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
Gary worked at Menard's in Sheboygan for 10 years before his retirement. He previously worked for as a computer consultant for companies in Wisconsin and Illinois. He enjoyed reading, watching movies and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewers fan.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy; his daughter, Tara Gagnon, Port Washington; his two grandchildren, Camryn Gagnon Pearson and Gavin Gagnon Harris; his brother, Jamie (Agnes) Gagnon, Sheboygan, and their daughter, Jessica Gagnon; his in-laws, Chris (Dione) Bahr, Donald (Debbie) Bahr, Jeanie Bahr, and Jeff Bahr; his special care giver and niece, Lish Burton; other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is further survived by his granddog, Baker.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Travis; his sister, Jill (Robert) Bourdeau; and two sisters-in-law, Debbie Felde Bahr and Diane Karl Bahr; and his beloved dog Charlie and cherished granddog Tanner.
A Celebration of Life for Gary will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday the 22nd from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Rocky Knoll Health Care Center and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
