Floyd Stauber

Floyd Stauber , 76, of Sheboygan, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home. Born April 4, 1936 in Sheboygan, Floyd was a son of the late Frank and Lauretta (Neese) Stauber. On January 23, 1957 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Rieck. The Couple was married for 45 years before Carolyn preceded him in death on October 29, 2002. Floyd was employed by the Plastics Engineering Company for more than 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his cottage on Fay Lake. He is survived by three children, Lu Ann "Lollie" (special friend Steve Billmann) Rashid , Steven Stauber, Gail Ann (Dale) Soerens , six grandchildren, Abbey, Krystal, Tiffaney (special friend Rudy), Codey, Desmond (special friend Erica) and Susan (Vincent Sherman); seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, one sister, nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn and his son, Dale "Skeeter" Stauber, A celebration of Floyd life will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Aurora VNA hospice for the terrific care they gave Floyd. A special thank you to Abbey for taking such good care of Grandpa.
