Eunice F. Fetterer, 88, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Sheboygan Senior Community.
The former Eunice Fay Thornton was born in Milwaukee on February 10, 1930, a daughter of the late Hiram and Olga Zager Thornton. She attended Ebenezer Lutheran grade school and was a 1948 graduate of North High School.
On August 7, 1948, she and Paul Fetterer were married at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. where she was still a member.
Surviving her are her daughter, Bonnie (Gerald) Sokolik, La Crosse, WI, two sons, Glen, Sheboygan, and Gary Seminole, FL; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Zimmerman, Sheboygan; two sisters-in-law, Mary (Donald) Smith, Sheboygan Falls, and Dorothy Hankel, Nevada, and one brother-in-law, Dominic (Arlyne) Fetterer, North Carolina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded by her husband, Paul, and four children, Michael and the triplets, Tim, Roy, and Judy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Elroy (Martha) Schultz.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Sheboygan Senior Community.
