Elvira B. Beyer, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday morning, August 26, 2016 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Born April 28, 1931, Elvira was a daughter of the late Arwin and Anita Gosse. She attended area schools. On June 24, 1950, she was united in marriage to Norman C. Beyer in the Town of Mosel. They were married for 42 years before Norman preceded her in death on January 4, 1993.
Elvira worked in the housekeeping department at St. Nicholas Hospital for many years. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Rogene Brott, Sheboygan, Jeffery (Nancy) Beyer, Sheboygan Falls, Janice Loving, Roslindale, MA, Randall Beyer, Sheboygan, and Neal (Tanya) Beyer, Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; her brother, Kenneth (Joann) Gosse; and her two sisters, Luellen (Ralph) Dhein and LaVerne Schultz.
Funeral services for Elvira will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Alan Kretschmar will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
