Elaine A. Naumann, 87, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Waterford at Plymouth. She was born on December 12, 1938, in Sheboygan to the late Eldred Albert and Magdalene Eleanor (Schmidt) Michaels. Elaine graduated from Sheboygan Central High School with the Class of 1957.
Elaine worked for Heritage Insurance, Karstadt's Garage and she retired in 2004 from Franzen Graphics as their receptionist. On December 15, 1973, she was united in marriage to Myron Lester Naumann at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2018.
Elaine was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She had the gift for gab and loved to meet new people and visit with her family and friends. Elaine and Myron enjoyed taking Sunday rides. She also loved working in her yard and tending her flower beds and plants. She also had a soft spot in her heart for animals especially cats.
Elaine is survived by her brothers; John (Diane) Michaels of Kohler and Rodney (Nancy) Michaels of Cleveland, nieces; Wendy Scharenbroch of Sheboygan, Dawn (Jerry) Daggett of Waldo, Lorna (Tom) Boje of Sheboygan and Darla (Billy) Free of Sheboygan, nephews; Eric (Kim) Michaels of Two Rivers and Todd (Crystal) Michaels of Chilton, and her brother-in-law Tom Grasse. She is further survived by many great nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lloyd, sister Mildred Grasse, mother and father-in-law Gladys and Lester Naumann, nephew John Hoffman III and niece Pama Jo Berlin.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 12:00 Noon at Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan, with Pastor Matthew Shive officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elaine's name.
