Edward Joseph Mckelvey, Iii

Edward Joseph McKelvey, III, 80, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice following a courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Born June 19, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Edward J. and Margaret Sheerhan McKelvey, II. He attended Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ Catholic School. He continued his education at St. Joseph College and the Wharton School of Business. On September 9, 1967, he was united in marriage to Jacqueline E. Jansen at St. Dominic Catholic Church.
Following his graduating from Wharton, Ed took jobs in Chicago, Michigan and Connecticut before moving to Sheboygan where he and Jacque took over the family business, Lakeside Bottling Company, until his retirement. He was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler. Ed was committed to many Sheboygan County organizations.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jacque; his children, Erin (Peter) Schueller and Meredith McKelvey, both of Kohler; his seven grandchildren, Frances, Payton, Emerson, Aidan and Hunter Schueller and Michael and Will McKelvey; his sister, Judi (Ray) Mullen, Huntington Valley, PA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Edward Jansen "EJ" McKelvey.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 Green Tree Road, Kohler. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Inurnment will take place in Woodland Cemetery in Kohler.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank Dr. S. Mark Bettag and his amazing staff and the Angels of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and overwhelming support.
