Edith "Edee" M. Schmidt, 88, (29 and holding) of Sheboygan passed away on Friday evening, September 15, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Born March 17, 1929 in Eagle River, WI, Edith was a daughter of the late John and Mary Yapunchich Jankovich
She is survived by her four sons, John (Shoot It), William, Kevin and Frederick (Lisa) Schmidt, all of Sheboygan; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother, John Jankovich, Stevens Point, her sister-in-law, Adeline Brotz, Sheboygan,; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Schmidt and her brothers and sisters, Ann, Frank, Mary, Jen, Rose, Joe, and Helen,
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 835 Huron Avenue. The Rev. Matthew Widder will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are welcome at the church for a rosary service beginning at 9:30 a.m. with visitation continuing from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Edith's arrangements.
