Doris J. Wagner, 90, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center where she had been residing.
Born February 20, 1930 in Sheboygan, Doris was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Angst Radtke. She attended Sheboygan area schools and North High School. On September 26, 1953, she was united in marriage to Robert C. Wagner in Sheboygan. They were married for 56 years before Robert preceded her in death on February 3, 2010.
Doris was a supervisor at Wigwam Mills until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards, gambling, fishing and camping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Whenever you came over to visit, she always made sure you were taken care of.
She is survived by her children, Debbie (Steve) Schuette, Reedsville, Scott (Pattie) Wagner, Sheboygan, Wayne (Renee) Wagner, Sheboygan, Daniel Wagner, Sheboygan, and Mary (Nick) Ungerer, Tomohawk; her 10 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Dougherty, Sheboygan, ; her sister-in-law, Mary Radtke, Sheboygan nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her son, David (Sally) Wagner, her brothers, Ralph and Jimmy (Diane) Radtke and her sisters, Pearl (Bill)Leonard, Virginia (Louie) Woiak, and Judy (Pete) Gabrielse, and her brother-in-law, Robert Dougherty.
Private family services will be held.
A memorial fund has been established in her name and may be sent in c/o Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Sheboygan Progressive Care Center for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Doris' arrangements.
