Donnette Marie Schwartz

Donnette Marie Schwartz, 74, of Sheboygan passed away early Thursday morning, September 16, 2021 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 22, 1947 in Sheboygan, Donnette was a daughter of the late Harold A. and Lilly L. Roth Knuth. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School. On August 28, 1971, she was united in marriage to Dennis F. Schwartz at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. They were married for 45 years before Dennis preceded her in death on December 26, 2016.
Donnette worked as a certified nursing assistant at Morningside Nursing Home for many years. She also worked for Sheboygan Senior Community and Sunny Ridge Nursing Home before returning to work and retire from Morningside. She previously worked at the Sheboygan Tannery as her first job out of high school. She was a member of Holy Name Church. She was also a member of the Sheboygan VFW Post 9156 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed going for scooter rides but her greatest joys were needlepoint and spending time with and baby-sitting her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Dave) Tershner, Sheboygan, Doreen (Tony, Sr.) Reineking, Sheboygan, Dan Schwartz, Manitowoc, and Dana Schwartz, Sheboygan; eleven grandchildren, Kim (fiancé Dan Lopour) Schwartz, Tony Reineking, Jr., Kyle Reineking, Brandy Tershner, and Cody Tershner, all of Sheboygan, Seth Fischer and Payton Schwartz, Manitowoc, Faith Bayer, Wausau, Riley, Eli and Owin Bayer, all of Sheboygan; her seven great grandchildren, Andre Souvannasot, Zyla Reineking, James Lopour, Freya Reineking, Luna Reineking, Wyatt Tershner and Elliot Lopour; her brother, Dennis (Pamela) Knuth, Howards Grove; her sister, Deborah (Kris) Weber, Town of Sheboygan; her sister-in-law, Audrey Olig, Plymouth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Donnette will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Lorri Steward will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inunrment will take place in Calvary Cemetery with her husband, Dennis.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
