Doniella M. "Donnie" Linzmeyer, 87, formerly of N. 10th Street, passed away Monday evening, September 2, 2013 at Arbor View Communities in Plymouth where she had been residing. Born December 22, 1925 in Sheboygan, Doniella was a daughter of the late Anton and Louise Sinkovec Povsic. She attended S.S. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Schools and graduated from North High School in 1944. On July 14th, 1951, she was united in marriage to Michael H. Linzmeyer at S.S. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. They were married for 57 years before Michael preceded her in death on May 26, 2009. Doniella was a corporate secretary for the H.C. Prange Company for 32 years, retiring in 1988. She previously was employed as a stenographer at Plastics Engineering Company. She was a lifelong member of S.S. Cyril & Methodius Church, belonged to the KSKJ and the Slovenian Catholic Union. She enjoyed gardening, league bowling and traveling to Slovenia to visit her cousins. She is survived by her daughters, Jacquelyn Grosskreutz, Cambria, CA, and Kathleen (Robert Fenske) Linzmeyer, Milwaukee; two grandsons, Benjamin Grosskreutz, Cambria, CA and Charlie Karr, San Francisco, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Michael, she was preceded in death by her sister, Antonia Povsic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at S.S. Cyril & Methodius Church, 822 New Jersey Avenue. Fr. Paul Fliss will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will take place immediately following the Mass in Calvary Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholas Barnes and nurse practitioner, Rachel and the staff of Arbor View for their kindness, compassion and guidance through her journey.
