Donald Wassilus

Donald A. Wassilus age 68 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday evening December 19, 2018 at Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 21, 1950 in Sheboygan to Donald A. and Shirley M. (Beneke) Wassilus, Don attended local schools and graduated from North High School. He was a truck driver with many companies throughout his career until his retirement in 2012. On October 9, 1993 he was united in marriage to Dawn R. Guth in Elkhart Lake.

Don is survived by his wife Dawn; 2 daughters, Kimberley Wassilus and Karrie (Joseph) Lawrence; 2 grandsons, Andrew & Isaac Lawrence; a brother Ronald Wassilus; two sisters in law; Cheryl (Arthur) Magruder, Karen (Milo) Hasse, two nieces, Amanda (Brent) Rosenberger, Heather (Dennis) Wesolowski; 2 nephews, Ryan Wassilus, Derrick (Amy) Hasse two great nieces, Audrina Rosenberger, Jayce Wesolowski and two great nephews, Beckham Rosenberger and Reed Haase.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father in law & mother in law, Duane and Genevieve Guth and a uncle, Albert Beneke.

A memorial service for Don will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday January 11, 2019 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan. The Rev. Lorrie Steward will officiate. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in Don's name.
