Donald "Donnie" R. Housey

Donald R. "Donnie" Housey, 60, of Sheboygan, passed away at his home on Wednesday morning, February 7, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Born November 5, 1963, in Sheboygan, Donnie was a son of the late Lawrence and Elaine Carson Housey. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1984.
Donnie worked in maintenance for many years at Imogene's Cleaning Center as well as Farnsworth Middle School in Sheboygan. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and taking gambling trips to the casinos. He loved going out to eat but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Richard (Shirley) Housey, Howards Grove, Marlene Schoen, Sheboygan, Ken (Jeanine) Housey, Sheboygan, Debbie Bunge, Howards Grove, and Laura (Dave) Nitze, Sheboygan; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Beside his parents, Lawrence and Elaine, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy (Dale) Koelpin, and his brother-in-law, Brian Bunge.
Funeral services for Donnie will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
