Deloris M. Lindow

Deloris M. Lindow, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 1, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay from complications of COVID-19.

Born December 19, 1930 in Beaver Dam, WI, Deloris was the daughter of the late Arthur and Regina Klapper Prieve. She attended Beaver Dam area schools and graduated from Beaver Dam High School. She continued her training for two more years as a secretary. On September 1, 1967, she was united in marriage to Duane H. Lindow. They were married for 47 years before Duane preceded her in death on December 12, 2014.

Deloris was a secretary for Wisconsin Public Service previously and worked at the H.C. Prange Company before her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, reading and walking but her greatest joy was raising her family and watching her grandchildren/great grandchildren grow up.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Dan) Katte, Mill Springs, NC, Dave (Laura) Henshaw, Sheboygan, Susan (Thomas) Schmit, Menomonee Falls, WI, and John (Everest Brooks) Lindow, West Bend, WI; eight grandchildren, Jon Katte, Goose Creek, SC, Jennifer Katte, Summerville, SC, and Julie (Peter) McLaughlin, Lakeland, TN, Jessica (Alex) Horvat and Michael Henshaw, both of Sheboygan, Vanessa (Tony Martinez) Henshaw, Elizabethtown, KY, and Brian and Amanda Schmit, Menomonee Falls; fourteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Duane, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold & Al Prieve and her stepfather, Bernard Grahn.

Private family services will take place. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Countryside Manor for all of their loving care and support.
