Deion Taylor

Deion Taylor, 62, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. He was born June 17, 1963, in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Curtis L. and Clementine (Johnson) Taylor. He then moved to Saginaw, MI and graduated from Saginaw High School. Following High School Deion proudly joined the US Navy and was stationed in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Hawaii, and San Diego, CA. In 1993 he moved to Elkhart Lake taking on a role at The Osthoff Resort.

On March 28, 2014, he was united in marriage to Heather Goebel in Sheboygan.

Deion loved his family. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. Spending time with them creating cherished and lasting memories was a passion of his. He also had a love for cars and spent many hours detailing them. He also enjoyed listening to music and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.

Deion is survived by his wife Heather, son Delvon Griffin of Washington, IA, stepchildren, Brianna (Ryan) Coons, Axel (Keisha) Stumphy and Afton (Paul) Stumphy, grandchildren, Davion and Amari Griffin of Washington, IA, step-grandchildren, Hanna and Adaline Coons, sister Elaine Taylor of Saginaw, MI and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother Christine Grayson.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 3:30 PM at Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
