David H. Lewis

October 12, 1949 — March 22, 2013

David H. Lewis, 63, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday afternoon, March 22, 2013 at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Born October 12, 1949 in Sheboygan, David was a son of Violet E. Wolters Lewis and the late Earl R. Lewis. He attended area schools and graduated from South High School in 1968. Following high school, David served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 to 1972 during the Vietnam War. On July 29, 1972, he was united in marriage to Christine Ritacca of Kenosha. On August 14, 1998, he married Jean F. Schroeder. Dave was a line locator for SM&P Utility Company. He previously worked as a cook for many years, including Embers and the American Club. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling and especially loved golf. He is survived by his wife, Jean; his son, Sean Lewis, Chicago; his mother, Violet, Sheboygan; his brother, Jim (Karen) Lewis, Sheboygan; nephew, Tom Lewis, Sheboygan; nieces, Cari (Aaron) Anger, Sheboygan, and Kim Lewis, Sheboygan Falls; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl, and his first wife, Christine. There will be no visitation or services at this time. The Lippert-Olson Funeral Home has been entrusted with David's arrangements.
