Cynthia "Cyd" June Girard

Cynthia "Cyd" June Girard, 49, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday morning, April 12, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee surrounded by her family.
Born February 14, 1973 in Sheboygan, Cynthia was a daughter of Donald C. Becker and the late June Kisiolek Becker. She graduated from New Holstein High School in 1991. She continued her education at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Lakeland University in Howards Grove. On January 6, 2007, she was united in marriage to John B. Girard in Chandler, AZ.
Cyd worked as an accountant for US Bank in Milwaukee and Mesa, AZ for many years. She was a talented beautician who studied at the Aveda Institute in New York. She was also an active member of the Rightway Club in Sheboygan. She was an avid baker and loved to cook. Among her greatest joys were times spent with her husband John on their boat and visiting with her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband, John; her fur babies, Lucy, Gertie, Frankie and Nala; her father, Donald (Cathy) Becker, Kiel; her brother, Christopher (Katie) Becker, Kohler; her sister, Sandra (Todd) Shunneson, Whitefish Bay; her nieces and nephews, Serena, Joseph, Johnathan, Hollyann, Felicity, Molly, Mark, Andy, Kate and Mikie; her sisters-in-law, Suzanne (David) Scheirer and Cathy (Tom) Worden; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, June Becker, and her grandparents, Donald I. and Lucille Becker and Boleslaw and Luetta Kisiolek.
Funeral services for Cyd will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Ishizawar, Dr. Candice Johnstone, and the nurses and staff at Froedtert Hospital for all of their loving care and support.
