Corinne "Corky" M. Franzen

Corinne "Corky" Franzen, 69, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the Shores of Sheboygan surrounded by her family.
Born November 20, 1952 in Plymouth, Corinne was the daughter of the late Stanley and Audrey Reinartz Thayer. She attended Plymouth area schools and graduated from Plymouth high School in 1971.
Corinne worked as a CNA at Morningside Nursing Home for 10 years. She also worked at Aero Metric for 10 years. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and going to garage sales.
She is survived by her children, Russell Franzen, Jr. Cleveland, and Valerie (Craig Huebschmann) Franzen, Sheboygan Falls; her grandson, Corbin Huebschmann, Sheboygan Falls; her brother, Glen Thayer, Oshkosh; her boyfriend, Ben Torres, Sheboygan; other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Russell Franzen, Sr.
Funeral services for Corinne will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in the Town of Mitchell.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Shores, especially Delores, and the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
