Colleen M. Ostrom, 62, of Sheboygan, passed away early Friday morning, October 9, 2015 at her home. Born September 20, 1953, in Milwaukee, Colleen was a daughter of the late Donald J. Bruce and Pauline L. Bruce. She attended St. Luke's School in Brookfield, WI and graduated from Brookfield Central High School in 1971. She then continued her education at WCTC. Colleen was an engineering coordinator at the Kohler Company for many years. She enjoyed crafts, playing bingo, Taco Tuesdays, and Facebook. She was an avid Brewers, Packers, and Minions fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Robert Ostrom, Minong, WI, Mary (Chris) Kelling, Sheboygan Falls, and Jeremy (Juliet) Ostrom, Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Kayla Schroeder, Triston, Landon, Braedon and Colton Ostrom, and Skyler Wells; her mother, Pauline Bruce, Adams Friendship, WI; her sisters and brother, Pauline Bruce, Milwaukee, Eileen (Court) Piehler, MA, Donald (Maureen) Bruce, Arkdale, WI, Maureen (Bill) Wist, Wautoma, Christine (Perry) Woolley, Mukwonago, Geraldine (Jerold) Lundt, New Berlin, Doreen (Daryll) Fiedler, West Bend, and Jolene (Todd) Thurber, West Allis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald J. Bruce, her sister, Kathleen Bruce-Neumann, her brother, Ronald Bruce, and her grandson, Mason Schroeder. Funeral services for Colleen will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Fr. Matthew Widder will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery in Brooks, WI, at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Aurora At Home Care for all of their loving care and support. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
