Clifford "Ted" Van Alstine, 60, of Sheboygan, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born February 14, 1957 in Mount Clemens, MI, Cliff was a son of the late Lester Van Alstine and Ila Middleton Blotz. Cliff served his country in the U.S. Navy in 1974 until his honorable medical discharge. On August 1, 1981, he was united in marriage to Julie Edens in Sheboygan.
Cliff worked as a truck driver and a landscaper in the area for many years. He enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley. He was an avid landscaper, enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his best friends and in-laws, Jodi and Jim Bratz, Sheboygan; his niece Alissa (special friend Jason Mills) McKnight, Sheboygan and her daughter, Khloe McKnight; his daughter, Nikki (Jason) Jaeckels, Plymouth; and his three grandchildren, Jacob, Kaleigh and Ava; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Shaun Van Alstine.
A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
