Charles W. Bellmer, Jr., age 91, passed from this life on Saturday, December, 27, 2014. He was a resident of New Port Richey, Florida. He was born in Manitowoc, WI and lived in Sheboygan, WI for most of his life. Charles was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a Sergeant in the 34th Photo Reconnaissance Squad. After being Honorably Discharged on November 13, 1945, he married his Sheboygan sweetheart Evelyn Guenther (decd 2/24/2004) on November 24, 1945. He was an amazing and generous father to 3 daughters: Dorothy (David) Noggle, New Port Richey, FL; Margaret (Michael) Hintz, Antigo, WI; and Charlotte (Keith) Glaser, Muskego, WI. He was a loving Grandfather of 7, Great Grandfather of 15, and Great Great Grandfather of 1. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Charles was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was known for his generous spirit and witty sense of humor throughout his life. His sense of humor brought smiles to many, including his wonderful caregivers at the Heather Hill Nursing Home in New Port Richey where he spent his last 1½ years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The Memorial Service will be on Friday, January 2, 2015, at 10:30 am at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1232 Superior Ave, Sheboygan. Visitation with family will be at 9:45 am until the time of service. Burial will be in the Sheboygan Falls Cemetery with full Military Honors following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sun Coast Baptist Church, 4726 SR 54, New Port Richey, FL, 34652.
