Cesar A. Herrera
Cesar A. Herrera, 72, of Sheboygan, WI., peacefully passed away Friday morning, May 5, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI.
Born April 7, 1945 in Saltillio, Coahuila, Mexico. He was a son of the late Roberto and Delfina Herrera. He attended schools in the Saltillo area.
Cesar moved to the United States and became a boat mechanic in Bumpass, VA. He later went on and moved to the Midwest and started his family with Victoria Houseye and made his home in Sheboygan. Following that, he moved to Texas with his family and worked as an auto mechanic. After several years in Texas he moved back home to Sheboygan. He went on to work at Lakeside Foods as a maintenance mechanic until he retired.
He is survived by his children, Cesar (Angie) Houseye and Samia (Lupe Segovia) Naser. His step-children, Fran (Barb) Houseye, Willard (Ninfa) Houseye, Linda (Keith) Cook, Jeff Houseye, Robert (Reese) Houseye. 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, all of Sheboygan. He is further survived by his brothers Roberto Herrera and Ricardo Herrera, both of Saltillio, Coahuila, Mexico. His cousin Rosie Boggs of Bumpass, VA. Along with many nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed working on cars, playing the guitar, and spending time laughing and having meals with his family.
Besides his parents, he was preceeded in death by his aunt Francisca Briones, sister Clemintina Herrera Zermeno, brother in law Flavio Zermeno, step son James A. Houseye Jr., cousin Joe Boggs, and the love of his life Victoria M. Houseye.
A memorial service for Cesar will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name for Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family would like to thank the staff of Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all their loving care and support.
