Carol A. Hilpertshauser

Carol A. Hilpertshauser, 93, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Shores of Sheboygan surrounded by her family.
Born June 5, 1929 in Cedarburg, Carol was a daughter of the late Walter and Frances Bieles Eichhorst. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1947. On September 4, 1948, she was united in marriage to Eugene W. Hilpertshauser, Jr. in the Parsonage of St. John's Evangelical & Reformed Church. They were married for 52 years before Eugene preceded her in death on August 31, 2001.
Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law and friend to many. Carol was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church where she was confirmed. She also volunteered at the Bethesda Thrift Store for 37 years. Carol had a soft spoken personality and a generous soul and was loved by many.
She is survived by her three children, Glen (special friend, Edie Krizenesky) Hilpertshauser, Jill (Tom) Nelesen, and Scott (special friend Shelly Harms) Hilpertshauser, all of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Andy (special friend, Alex) Hilpertshauser, Robby (special friend, Angel) Hilpertshauser, Chris Nelesen, Lindsey (significant other, Chris Courtright) Nelesen and Sammy (Alexis) Hilpertshauser; great grandchildren, Brody, Hailee, Norah, Cavin, and Caelyn; her brother-in-law, Allen Hilpertshauser; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband Eugene, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jeanne; sister and brother-in-law, June (Casey) Holtz; and her sister-in-law, Vi Hilpertshauser.
Private family services will be held. Interment will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Shores of Sheboygan and the nurses and staff of Allay Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Carol's arrangements.
