Carl W. Krueger, 82, of Wausaukee, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
Born July 17, 1934 in Sheboygan, Carl was a son of the late William and Frieda Rebensdorf Krueger. He attended Sheboygan area schools. He served his country in the U.S. National Guard for nine years. On July 25, 1959, he was united in marriage to Nancy C. Schunk at Wesley United Methodist Church.
Carl worked at Vinyl Plastics for 34 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of First United Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers. He loved watching John Wayne and Tarzan movies.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy, Wausaukee; his three children, Rick Krueger, Marinette, Randy (Lisa) Krueger, Cascade, and Renee (Rick) Navis, Sheboygan; his brother, Clyde Krueger, Sheboygan; his sister, Cora (Jerry) Blomberg, Plymouth; two brothers-in-law, Ron (Linda) Schunk, Sheboygan, and Ray Schunk, Sheboygan; nieces,nephews, other relatives and many friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Brannaman, and his sister-in-law, Pat Krueger.
Funeral services for Carl will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. The Rev. Gregory Whelton will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
