Bruce J. Peper, 66, of Sheboygan, left this world to be in paradise with his Savior and family and friends that have gone before, on Monday, August 8, 2016 at his home.
Born November 12, 1949 in Red Wing, MN, Bruce was a son of late Donald S. and Louise G. Doyle Peper. He was raised on a farm in Belvidere, MN. In May of 1961, the family moved to Goodhue, MN where he grew up and attended schools graduating in May of 1967. He worked at a dairy plant in Goodhue until August 1968 when he moved to Sheboygan and worked at the Kohler Company until he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from August 1969 to August 1973, serving a year of duty in DaNang, Vietnam.
On August 29, 1970, he was united in marriage to Susan J. Burtard in Sheboygan. They were blessed with a son, Tony, and a daughter, Tammi, who gave us four loving grandchildren, Brianne, Taylor and twins, Dominic and Dustin.
Bruce was employed after the Air Force with the Kohler Co., Frito-Lay and a 30 1/2 year career as a delivery driver for U.P.S., retiring on December 1, 2008.
He enjoyed bowling and golf games for many years. Dirt track stock cars racing was also a great hobby for many years. His special love in sports was his lifelong love of the Minnesota Vikings, hoping to win the Super Bowl just "once in my life - OH WELL!" He really enjoyed the many years of card games with family and friends and all of the holidays spent with them.
He was a member of St. John's UCC for many blessed years where he served as an usher and served on the church council.
