Betty J. Radke

Betty J. Radke, age 84 of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Sunny Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born May 8, 1933 in Sheboygan, Betty was the daughter of the late Alexander And Amalie Weimer Miller. She graduated from Central High School. On April 21, 1956 she was united in marriage to Arthur E. Radke at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. They were married for 38 years before Arthur preceded her in death on July 15, 1995. She was employed by Evans Crafts and More until it's closing. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church where she was an active member in the Mother's Club, Altar Guild, and XYZ Club. Betty enjoyed going to church as well as painting, reading and gardening.

She is survived by her four children, Beth Ann (Kenneth) Sommerfeldt, Arthur D. Radke, Jeffry J. Radke and Terri J. Radke; five grandchildren, Michael Sommerfeldt, Kelly (William) Kalk, Alexander Radke, Nathan Radke, and Matilda Radke; and one great grandchild, Madysen Sommerfeldt.

Besides her parents and husband, Arthur, she was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother.

Funeral services for Betty will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 1810 N. 13th Street, Sheboygan. The Rev. Alan Kretschmar will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

The Olson Funeral Home and Cremation Service has been entrusted with Betty's arrangements.
