Betty Davis

Betty Davis, 79, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at her home.
Born May 6, 1943 in Pierce Township, Kewaunee County, Betty was a daughter of the late Elmer and Lottie Noel Schallie. She attended Kewaunee area schools.
Betty was a certified nursing assistant for over 30 years at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home before her retirement. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She enjoyed playing bingo, dominos and sheepshead, especially with her sisters. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Mueller and Brenda Davis, both of Sheboygan; her son-in-law, Rich Steuerwald; her grandchildren, Heather (Tim) Brasted Kreutz, Josh Brasted and Sean Brasted, all of Sheboygan, Clayton (Ashley) Knapp, Sheboygan Falls and Mitchell Knapp, Sheboygan; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren her sisters, Bernadine (Bob) Orde, Howards Grove and Beverly Blahnik, Algoma; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Steuerwald; her sisters, Arbutius Pappe and Marion Leischow; and her brother, Arthur Schallie.
Funeral services for Betty will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for St. Mark Lutheran Church, Sheboygan.
