Betty A. Brown, 89, formerly of 2nd St. Cedar Grove, passed away on Tuesday morning, August 13, 2013, at Sheboygan Senior Community where she had been a resident. Born January 14, 1924, in Doniphan, NE, Betty was a daughter of the late Emmet and Edna Paulk Marsh. On September 4, 1943, she was united in marriage to Jasper H. Brown in Wilkes Barre, PA. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Port Washington. Betty is survived by her three children, Angela (Jerry) Firmani, Altamonte Springs, FL, Kathryn (Robert) Vorpagel, Fort Atkinson, WI and James (Kim) Brown, Cedar Grove, WI; six grandchildren, Casey (Robyn)Firmani, Longwood FL, Joel (Julie) Vorpagel, China, Mark (Ana) Vorpagel, Franklin, WI, Jesse (Kalyca) Brown, Port Washington, Jolene (Shane) Novak, Maui, HI, Jamie (Caleb) Cribb, Brown Deer, WI; four great grandchildren, Elena & Isabella Firmani, Ian Brown, Jonah Vorpagel; her sister, Virginia Gilworth, Lakewood, CO; other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jasper and her brother Gerald. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday August 18, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall, 2500 Hwy C, Port Washington, WI, with Joel Baum leading the service. Relatives and friends are welcome on Sunday at the Kingdom Hall from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Sheboygan Senior Community for the loving care they gave Betty. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family.
