Beatrice J. Garski, 94, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Harvest Home Assisted Living where she had been residing.
Born September 26, 1926 in Hatley, WI, Beatrice was a daughter of the late Anton and Helen Miller Sinski. She attended Hatley area schools. On November 25, 1941, she was united in marriage to Hubert J. Garski at St. Florian Catholic Church in Hatley. They were married for 58 years before Hubert preceded her in death on March 5, 2000.
Beatrice was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, canning and strawberry picking with her friends. She also loved to quilt and dance the polka with her husband, Hubert. She was an active member of St. Dominic Catholic Church where she volunteered and was a rosary leader. She was the most loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Ron (Tama) Garski, Las Cruces, NM, Gary (Sue) Garski, Sheboygan, Joseph (Debbie) Garski, Elkhart Lake, and Mary (Phillip) Stoelb, Sheboygan; her six grandchildren, Michael (Lynda) Garski, Los Angeles, CA, David (Kristina) Garski, Colorado Springs, CO, Wendy (Tyler Bergstrom) Garski, Milwaukee, Roberta (Radim) Stefanek, Wauwatosa, Amanda (Neal Swanger) Stoelb, Minneapolis, MN, and Megan (Erik) Anderson, Glendale; four great grandchildren, Clare, Jonathan and William Garski, Colorado Springs, CO, and Beatrice Anderson, Glendale; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and her husband, Hubert, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard, two sisters, two brothers, a half sister, and a half brother.
Private family services will take place. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for St. Dominic Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cameo House for their care and compassion while she resided at Harvest Home. Also to the nurses and staff of Heartland Hospice.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Beatrice's arrangements.
