Barbara L. (Brendel) Portschy

January 29, 1957 — July 25, 2018

Barbara L. (Brendel) Portschy, 61, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday morning, July 25, 2018 at the Sheboygan Senior Community Center.
Born January 29, 1957 in Sheboygan, Barbara was a daughter of the late Willard E. and Helen K. Block Brendel. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1975.
Barbara worked at Mayline for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed spending time playing computer games, watching game shows, lottery tickets and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She loved spending time with and spoiling her nieces, nephews, and great nieces. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Thomas Brendel, Ruth (Roger) Smies, Sandy (Robert) Reinwand, and Kenneth (Jill) Brendel, all of Sheboygan; her nieces and nephews, Matthew (Emily) Brendel, Jeremy Winter, Jeni Reinwand, Kate Reinwand, Marisa (fiancé Vincent Guaro) Brendel and Abigail Brendel; her great nieces; and will be missed by her many other relatives and friends. She is further survived by her special friend Paul Portschy.
Besides her parents, Willard and Helen, she was preceded in death by her niece, Kelly Winter.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Barbara's arrangements.
