Barbara A. Louisier

Barbara A. Louisier, 65, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday morning, December 23, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center of Sheboygan.
Born October 11, 1959, in Sheboygan, Barbara was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Schmidt Kletzien. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1977. On January 23, 1982, she was united in marriage to Leonard Louisier at Lutheran Church of our Redeemer.
Barbara worked at Wigwam Mills for 43 years. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, aunt and great aunt.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Leonard; her niece, Shannon (Jeremy) Kletzien; her great niece, Elsie; her sisters-in-law, Linda (Rick) Karstaedt, Sheboygan, and Helen Castellanos, Nashville, TN; her brother-in-law, David (Jody) Louisier, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Kletzien.
Funeral services for Barbara will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and Aurora Medical Center for all of their loving care and support.
