Audrey E. Bacon, 82, of 1520 Nutmeg Court., died Friday, September 14, 2012 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center. Born September 22, 1929, in Sheboygan, Audrey was a daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Seitenzahl Pfister. She attended area grade schools and graduated from North High School in 1947. She continued her education by attending Beauty College. On October 28, 1950 she was united in marriage to Elmer G. Bacon at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. They were married for 53 years before Elmer preceded her in death on May 28, 2004. From 1962 until her retirement in 1992, Audrey owned and operated Audrey's Beauty Salon. From 1957 to 1962, she managed the Northgate Beauty Salon. She was a member of First United Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir. She was an avid bowler and loved crocheting and even taught at Lakeshore Technical College. She was also a member of the Sheboygan Elk's Lodge #299. She is survived by her three children, Debra (Jerome) Krebsbach, Sheboygan, Barry Bacon, Arkdale, WI, Randal (Rashel) Bacon, Sheboygan; nine grandchildren, Mark (Erin), Trisha & Katie Krebsbach, Jeremey (Adeliza), Jeffery & Jamie Bacon, Natalie Wright, Branden (Jessica) Bacon and Heather (Brian) Gnerer; five great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Marion (Tom) Pilgrim, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services for Audrey will take place at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2012, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue. Deacon Deb Ganser will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum. A memorial fund has been established in her name. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice and a special thank you to Dan and the staff at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center.
