Arlene L. Koeser, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away early Saturday morning, June 16, 2018.
Born December 18, 1932 in New Holstein, Arlene was a daughter of the late John and Alvina Hoekstra. She attended schools in the New Holstein area, graduating from high school in 1951. On June 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to John J. Koeser in Kiel. They were married for 57 years before John preceded her in death on June 10, 2013.
Arlene was a stay at home mom.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Tom) Longrie; a granddaughter, Renee Tews; and her great grandson, Tristan, all of Sheboygan; her sister, Marion (Vernon) Boreen; three brothers, Jack Hoekstra, Sparta, Melvin (Jean) Hoekstra and Tony (Jan) Hoekstra, both of New Holstein; three sisters-in-law, Lorena Hildebrand, Sheboygan, Norma Brocker, Kiel, and Marie Koeser, St. Anna; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, John, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Abram.
According to her wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
