Ardis P. Horst

Ardis P. Horst, 91, of Sheboygan passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Born July 6, 1923 in Wauwatosa, WI, Ardis was a daughter of the late Clarence and Etta Bauer Hopp. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School. On April 6, 1946, she was united in marriage to Harold Horst in Dubuque, IA. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and David Franzen, Sheboygan, her two grandchildren, Kay Franzen, Waukesha and Eric and Christine Franzen, Sheboygan; and her two great grandchildren, Elisha and Danya Franzen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her sister Bernice Slapikes and her brother, Harold Hopp. According to her wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Inurnment will take place in Union Grove Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Countryside Manor and the nurses and doctors of St. Nicholas Hospital ER for all of their loving care and support. The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Ardis's arrangements.
