Alice K. Richter

Alice K. Richter, 81, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday morning, January 29, 2024, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by her family.
Born July 13, 1942, in Sheboygan, Alice was the daughter of the late Alexander and Hilda Kaiser Richter. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1960. She continued her education in Milwaukee,  attending cosmetology school.
Alice was an educational aid at Sheboygan area schools and finished her career with the Sheboygan Area School District in the printing department until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and previously belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Mexico with her grandson. One of her greatest joys was entertaining, especially at Christmas where everyone was always welcome.
She is survived by her children, Michael Rieger, Sheboygan, Steven (Sherry) Rieger, Sheboygan, Michelle (Bob) Walker, Madison, Mark (Marie) Rieger, Sheboygan, and Mary (Kurt Klessig) Heitzmann, Sheboygan; eleven grandchildren, Alyssa, Stephanie, Kimberly, Jessica, Mark, Charlie, Amanda, Adam, Alex, Tanner and Trey; six great grandchildren; her brother, John (Pat) Richter, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is further survived by her pet and best friend, Daisy.
Besides her parents, Alex and Hilda, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron Heitzmann.
A memorial service for Alice will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1810 N. 13th Street, Sheboygan. The Rev. Matthew Shive will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The family would like to thank her at home caretaker, Crystal, and the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Alice's arrangements.
